Watching the time pass in style. At first, annual clocks were produced with a weight-driven clock mechanism as floor-standing clocks. This was followed by table clocks in the form of torsion pendulum clocks. They also ran for more than a year with just one single winding. They were traditionally exposed under a glass case or dome.
