Ole Häntzschel

Ole Häntzschel (born in 1979) studied visual communication at the University of the Arts in Berlin as well as in Venice, Zurich and Ann Arbor.

He works as a freelance infographic artist for numerous German print magazines, such as Zeit-Magazin, GEO Special, NZZ Folio, art Kunstmagazin, Monopol and Dein Spiegel. In 2010, together with the Zeit-Magazine editor Matthias Stolz, he published the book "Die große Jahresschau: Alles, was 2010 wichtig ist" (eng.: The grande year preview: everything that will be important in 2010). In 2011 and 2013, they published two more books on the topic of infographics.

Häntzschel received several awards for his works, including the golden Malofiej Award, which is the world's most important infographics prize.
