Paul Thierry
Paul Thierry's decorative collages, with their evocative pictorial effect, have made it into the art collection of the German government.
In his unique technique, Thierry (born in 1976) makes the never-ending hustle and bustle of the streets of the world's metropolises Paris and New York just as much his subject as beach idylls and the exotic animal world. The artist first applies motif directly to the canvas. Afterwards, he attaches an acrylic glass plate above the original motif and paints it by hand in X-ray style.
