Even dizzy heights do not stop them from crashing their horns into each other. The ambition to prove that they are stronger and more important makes them forget all caution.
The sculptor and designer Birgit Stauch was a private student of various renowned sculptors such as Arno Breker and Rudolf Alexander Agricola. Her ibexes are made of cast metal with a bronzed surface. On a polymer stone pedestal. Limited to 980 copies. Signed and numbered. Size 19 x 18.5 x 10.5 cm (w/h/d). About Birgit Stauch
Birgit Stauch was born with a fascination for form and design. She was the daughter of a master sculptor and stonemason and thus, grew up surrounded by sculptures.
Initially trained as a form designer, she also devoted herself to sculpture and took lessons from renowned artists such as Arno Breker and Richard Alexander Agricola. Stauch worked for many years as a sculptor and designer in an art foundry and was also a freelance artist. In 1996, she successfully set up her own business.
