Necklace "Aesculapius", 925 sterling silver bicolour
Asclepius was a master of medicine, surgery and herbology and was even able to raise the dead. He was usually depicted with a rod that was entwined with an adder. This Asclepius rod became a symbol of healing and, as a healing amulet, promotes health and long life. This designer piece by jewellery artist Christiane Wendt is exclusively available at ars mundi.
