Picture "Segnale immaginario", framed

The imaginary signals Eugenio Carmi sends out seem to emerge directly from the depth and infinity of space, which is divided into two different states of aggregation. There is an unreal atmosphere in the upper space, and incandescent heat makes it impossible in the lower part. But there is hope. Within the signal circle, imaginary or real, the colours become more "life-friendly". Blue signals the presence of vital oxygen, and green signals that the forces of nature have already begun to claim their right to life.

Photolithograph in six colours, signed by the artist, numbered on the back. Limited edition 5,000 copies. Sheet size 30 x 23.5 cm (h/w). Framed in silver-coloured solid wood with bevel cut passe-partout, glazed. Size 45.5 x 36.5 cm (h/w).
