About Florian Pelka
Florian Pelka was born in 1971 in Berlin and is one of the young artists of "New German Art" whose paintings are winning the hearts of art lovers. He studied free painting with Georg Baselitz at the UDK Berlin and became his master-class student in 2001.
Florian Pelka's paintings captivate with a highly individual visual language of vibrant presence. The figurative, ornamental pictorial elements convey spatiality and merge with abstract, flowing structures.
Graphic artwork in the making of which the artist combines at least two graphic techniques.
