Sibylle Bross
Painting is a highly intuitive, dynamic, and very personal process for the German artist Sibylle Bross (*1959). Her oeuvre includes expressive and colour-intensive portraits, nudes, landscapes, human paintings and still lifes - sometimes powerful and impulsive, sometimes sensitive, and harmonious. Bross finds inspiration for her works through personal experiences and impressions.
Sibylle Bross completed her artistic training at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, Germany. She began exhibiting her work in her mid-20s and since then has regularly shown her work nationally and internationally. Her art has already been honoured with numerous prizes, scholarships, and awards at home and abroad.
