Detailed description

Picture "Berlin by Night" (2008), framed

Berlin by night: a symbol of awakening and renewal. In unobtrusive yet powerful colours, Namazbek Chekirov creates very special city impressions in which he succeeds in capturing the movement of the moment in the modern use of forms. Each of these Giclée prints on an original artist's canvas also reproduces brushstrokes and structures so precisely that the impression of an original painting is created. Each canvas is traditionally stretched on a stretcher frame and individually hand numbered on the back and signed by the artist.

Giclée on artist's canvas, 2008. 750 copies limited edition, numbered and signed on the back. Mounted on a stretcher frame. Size 90 x 90 cm. Framed in a sophisticated solid wood studio frame with a shadow gap. Size 94 x 94 cm.

About Namazbek Chekirov

Namazbek Chekirov was born on February 6, 1979, in the former Soviet Republic in a remote region of Kyrgyzstan. From an early age, he was fascinated by painting nature, especially flowers, animals, as well as landscapes and cities. His paintings are extraordinary impressions with true-to-the-original details. In his paintings, time seems to stand still, yet they captivate us with their striking visual appeal and subtleties. Another focus of his work is also figurative painting.

When Chekirov visited New York for the first time, he was simply overwhelmed. Immediately, almost obsessively, he began photographing houses and city districts and transforming them into paintings. By viewing the picture, we can sense his fascination. He portrays New York as a melting pot of cultures, as the light-flooded heartbeat of modernity. In unobtrusive yet powerful colours, he creates very special big-city impressions, capturing the movement of the moment using a modern artistic form concept.
