Necklace "Sinú"
Original at the Museo del Oro / Gold Museum in Bogotá. In the pre-Columbian goldsmith's art, matt shimmering gold symbolised eternity and represented the light of the sun and the divine origin of being, in line with an earthy and life-affirming symbolism. "Sinú" is a necklace strung on a 3-strand leather band with 24-carat gold-plated metal elements and brown pearls. Lobster clasp, 24-carat gold plating, adjustable length from 51-56 cm.
