About Nikolaus Weiler
The sculptor Nikolaus Weiler was born in 1961 and, since 1994, works as a freelance artist in Berlin. His works deal with dynamics, movement and changes in form, space and expression.
His "all-dimensional" sculptures can be positioned in various ways. However, by changing the viewing angle, they also take on a new appearance. They are material constructions that three-dimensionally fathom out space around them.

In the history of arts, the starting point of this trend was the work "Les Meules" (1890/1891) by Claude Monet, in which for the first time a series was created that went beyond a mere group of works. The other artists, who addressed to the serial art, include Claude Monet, Piet Mondrian and above all Gerhard Richter.
