Detailed description
Picture "Bouquet of Wild Flowers", framed
The landscape painter, draughtsman and lithographer was a founding member of the Rothenburg Artists' Association. His charming naturalistic still lifes are mostly privately owned and sought after at auctions. The composition of this work of art is reminiscent of Vermeer's painting style: light gently streams into the picture from the side, the actual subject stands out brightly lit against the darker background.
High-quality reproduction using the Fine Art Giclée process technique, handmade on artist's canvas of fine cotton and stretched like an original painting on an adjustable solid wood stretcher frame. The canvas structure is tangible and visible! A noble studio frame with profiled real wood moulding completes the overall appearance. Limited edition of 499 copies. Numbered on a certificate on the back. Size 65 x 52 cm (h/w). Exclusively at ars mundi.

Giclée = derived from the French verb gicler "to squirt, spurt".
The giclée method is a digital printing process. It is a high-resolution, large-format printout on an inkjet printer with special different-coloured dye- or pigment-based inks (usually six to twelve). The colours are fade-proof, i.e. resistant to harmful UV light. They have a high richness of nuance, contrast and saturation.
The giclée process is suitable for art canvases, handmade and watercolour paper as well as for silk.
