The flower frenzy: Elegant ornaments surround the bouquet of blossoms like shadows. The spectrum of sensations of this moment appears from orange to violet, alternating between sharpness and blurriness. In this print, Daniela Flörsheim plays with the levels of visible reality.
Exclusively at ars mundi, we offer you this Flörsheim work as a colourful Giclée print on handmade paper. The colours are particularly brilliant due to the high resolution and the excellent paper quality. Limited edition of 199 copies, numbered and signed by the artist. Unframed. About Daniela Flörsheim
Daniela Flörsheim, born in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1953, studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and was a master-class student of Professor Joseph Beuys. Archaeological and art historical studies in Jerusalem completed her education. Since 1984, she has been a freelance artist with numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Her works can be found in private collections as well as in public institutions.
Daniela Flörsheim transforms external impressions directly and very independently. In doing so, she combines a high sensitivity for colours with the expressiveness of her brushwork. Her works reveal a fine sensitivity to beauty. The artist paints with light and seemingly highly fluid application of colour. Like in Asian Zen, she applies liquefied pigments to the canvas with ecstatic brushstrokes.
Graphic or sculpture edition that was initiated by ars mundi and is available only at ars mundi or at distribution partners licensed by ars mundi.
Giclée = derived from the French verb gicler "to squirt, to spray".
The Giclée method is a digital printing process. It is a high-resolution, large-format print produced with an inkjet printer using special different-coloured dye- or pigment-based inks (usually six to twelve). The inks are lightfast, meaning they are resistant to harmful UV light. They provide a high level of nuance, contrast, and saturation.
The Giclée process is suitable for art canvases, handmade paper and watercolour paper as well as silk.
