Life-size "Tom" statue (version with base plate)
It is not only inspiration that brings forth new forms of expression. It is also the technical possibilities. The finely crafted silhouettes of life-size human figures made of sheet steel can only be realised through state-of-the-art plasma cutting. And yet, as unusual as they may seem, at first sight, they are very much in the tradition of large-scale sculpture, which began in stone and marble with the Greeks.
In keeping with the technique, the sculptures show modern, contemporary people and are suitable as eye-catchers in the garden. A tube welded to the back ensures sufficient stability. The sculptures can be firmly anchored in the ground by means of enclosed rods and can stand freely. Alternatively, they are also available with a base plate of 45 cm diameter (offered here), which ensures a secure stand in less protected places.
