Max Bernhard Büchner founds the company.

1964
Ernst Büchner takes over the management of the company.

1977
The first edition of the ars mundi catalogue is sent out.

1978
ars mundi is co-initiator of the exhibition "El Dorado - the Dream of Gold" at the Kestner Museum Hanover, Germany.

Founding of ARTES

1980/81
ars mundi is co-initiator of the exhibition "Tutankhamun" at the Kestner Museum Hanover, Germany.

1989
Start of the collaboration with Bruno Bruni.

1990 until 2001

ars mundi provides the idea for the German book series Kunst-Brockhaus / Brockhaus Kunstedition.

Collaboration with Prof. Markus Lüpertz - sculpture "Dithyrambe"

1997
Collaboration with Jörg Immendorff - sculpture "Alter Ego"

1999
Start of the collaboration with Vicco von Bülow (Loriot) with "The Thinker".

Dr. oec. HSG Max-Georg Büchner joins the management of the company.

2000
ars mundi launches its first art platform as an Internet pioneer.

Start of the cooperation with the Hundertwasser Non-Profit Foundation.
