Busts have a strong presence and attract attention in any room. This is because they are not only very decorative accessories but also always radiate a bit of the meaning and aura of the character depicted.
For thousands of years, three-dimensional objects showing a half-figure or only the head have exerted a particular fascination. Busts were already extremely popular in antiquity, especially among kings and emperors, and in the following centuries, it was often the famous people of contemporary history who were immortalised in sculptural portraits. Until today, the bust has remained an independent and popular subject in art.
