Detailed description

3D Picture "Light At the End of the Tunnel" with LED lighting, framed

Volker Kühn stages reality by depicting it figuratively and three-dimensionally in a picture frame. This narrowly defined space is sufficient for the artist to vividly depict life in all its facets - like here in the implementation of a linguistic image, where two figures literally walk towards the light at the end of the tunnel.

Kühn's "display cabinet" is a picture, space and light object at the same time: the scene, arranged with a great minimalist charm, is bathed in atmospheric light by incorporated LEDs.

Each 3D object is elaborately handcrafted and signed by hand. Solid wood display case frame, glazed. Lighting turns off automatically after approx. 3 minutes (shipping without batteries). Size 25.5 x 29 x 6 cm (h/w/d).

The picture is titled in German "Am Ende des Tunnels kommt das Licht".
