Detailed description
Picture "Trout Stream in the Franconian Forest", framed
The landscape painter, draughtsman and lithographer was a founding member of the Rothenburg Artists' Association (1872-1951). His charming naturalistic paintings are largely privately owned and sought after at auctions.
High-quality reproduction using the Fine Art Giclée process, worked by hand on an artist's canvas of fine cotton and stretched like an original painting on an adjustable solid wood stretcher frame. The canvas structure is tangible and visible, and the brush structure is additionally applied by hand! A noble studio frame with profiled real wood strip completes the overall impression. Limited edition 499 copies, with a numbered certificate on the back. Size 68 x 83 cm (h/w).

Giclée = derived from the French verb gicler "to squirt, spurt".
The giclée method is a digital printing process. It is a high-resolution, large-format printout on an inkjet printer with special different-coloured dye- or pigment-based inks (usually six to twelve). The colours are fade-proof, i.e. resistant to harmful UV light. They have a high richness of nuance, contrast and saturation.
The giclée process is suitable for art canvases, handmade and watercolour paper as well as for silk.
