Product Manager / Product Scout for Art and Design Objects (m/f/d)

The position is located in Hanover, Germany, permanent and available immediately.

Job position description:

• Product scouting - national and international:
  continuously developing our product range, identifying new brands, products, and suppliers with a focus on art and design objects
• Engagement with artists / artist acquisition
• Development of special ars mundi Exclusive Editions
• Market and competition monitoring
• Close cooperation with the management and the specialised departments of procurement and marketing
• Attendance at industry-relevant trade fairs in Germany and abroad
• Corporate procurement (supplier negotiations/order negotiations)
• Participation in the conception of promotional materials such as catalogues, newsletters, and social media campaigns

Required skills:

• Completed vocational training or degree with professional experience - preferably in a similar field or industry
• You don't need to be an art connoisseur, more important is your enthusiasm and interest in new trends and an aesthetic sense for beautiful things / accessories
• A keen understanding of current market trends and customer needs
• Willingness to take responsibility, independence, and initiative
• Negotiation and communication skills
• Structured, methodical, and goal-oriented work approach
• Team player
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Good MS Office skills
