To mark the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus in Dessau, Bauhaus Walter Gropius commemorates the legacy of the women who shaped modernism. Gunta Stölzl translated material, colour and craftsmanship into order, system and clarity. For her, colour was a functional tool, not an ornament. This ethos is carried forward in the anniversary collection. It is not a piece of jewellery, but a precise grid of time, material and deliberately placed colour accents. It honours Gunta Stölzl, Anni Albers, Ise Gropius and all those women who did not merely accompany modernism, but built it. A tribute to clarity, function and attitude.
