Detailed description

Picture "Nordic Impressions II", framed

Magic of the North: Christin Lutze's motif collection is based on her love of Nordic landscapes. Christin Lutze (born in 1975) was inspired to create this painting during a stay in Iceland - the island of fire and ice. She brought the "particularly clear blue winter light" to us from a small fishing town called Skagaströnd in the far north of the island. "This light enchanted and inspired me." The interplay of colours creates unique magic that works its way into the room.
Original: Oil on canvas.

Gicleé on canvas, stretched on a stretcher frame. Framed in lacquered natural wood frame with shadow gap. Limited edition of 199 copies, numbered on the back and signed by the artist. Size 22 x 29 cm (h/w).

About Christin Lutze

Out of imagined spatial structures, coincidences, blurs, superimpositions builds Christin Lutze (born in 1975) her pictorial worlds. In doing so, the artist applies the structure of classical landscape representation in a completely free way and creates spaces in which time seems to stand still, such as in Edward Hopper's view of space.

A contemporary yet solid simultaneity emerges from rational, surreal and emotional elements, "with an immanent calm and gathering power".

In addition to numerous exhibitions, Lutze's works are also part of private and public ownership at home and abroad.
