Jewellery set "Sinú"
The splendour of Central America: Pre-Columbian gold jewellery. The Sinú culture was located at the lower reaches of the Rio Sinú and the Rio Magdalena - where the Spaniards suspected the legendary El Dorado. The Sinú made jewellery from gold and tumbaga. They trusted in the power of the yellow metal: they were convinced that it could ward off evil forces.
Jewellery set "Sinú": The originals of this jewellery set are located in the Gold Museum in Bogotá/Colombia; the replicas are produced in specially authorised workshops (there with recourse) to traditional techniques. The jewellery set made of numerous square plates is made of 24-carat gold-plated metal combined with small ceramic beads. Necklace: length 40-44 cm. Stud earrings: size 1 x 3 cm each.

Mehrfach wurde ich auf den wunderschönen Schmuck angesprochen. Er ist recht schlicht sieht aber sehr edel aus. Super passend zu eher sportlicher Garderobe.
