About the exhibit
The academic path is no easy one. Even the first hurdle – the A-levels – deserves to be celebrated and honoured.
What a moment! This 3D object image honours this first major academic achievement in a simple yet striking way: a three-dimensional representation of a doctoral cap – now a symbol of all academic honours. Handcrafted, precise, timeless.
No bouquet, no card – but a gift that lasts.
A work of art for...
- All recent A-level graduates – well-deserved and celebrated
- Anyone looking for a gift that truly honours that first big step
- Living rooms, studies and desks with a touch of class
Whether for a graduation ceremony, the start of a career or as a lasting memento of a special moment – this 3D picture uniquely combines craftsmanship, pride and elegance.
With imagination and wit, the professor of business communication, born in 1960, presents words and quotations as innovative typographic object images. Using three-dimensional figurative design elements, Birkelbach reinforces the text’s message, thereby creating an expressive link between poster art and miniature sculpture.
Each piece is handcrafted and signed by the artist. The object images are framed in solid wood with high-quality, anti-glare glass. Limited edition of 249 copies, with certificate. Size 35 x 35 x 7 cm (h/w/d).
