Detailed description

3D picture "Encounters"

About the exhibit

Some encounters change everything. A glance, a moment – and nothing is the same as before.

This 3D object captures precisely that moment: two people meeting – rendered in typography and three dimensions, handcrafted with sensitivity. A work of art for everyone who knows that the most beautiful things in life often happen unexpectedly.

Not a poster, not a print – but a work of art that captures the moment.

A work of art for...

• Anyone who wants to celebrate a special encounter
• Anyone looking for a gift that tells a story
• Living spaces and offices for people with an eye for the extraordinary

Whether as a memento of that first moment, as an anniversary gift, or as a quiet statement about the power of chance – this 3D picture uniquely combines craftsmanship, romance and depth.

About the artist

With imagination and wit, the professor of business communication, born in 1960, stages words and quotations as innovative typographic object images. Using three-dimensional figurative design elements, Birkelbach reinforces the text’s message, thereby creating an expressive link between poster art and miniature sculpture.

Each piece is handcrafted and signed by the artist. The object images are framed in solid wood with high-quality, anti-glare glass. Limited edition of 249 copies, with certificate. Size 35 x 35 x 10 cm (h/w/d).
