Aeffner's depictions seem to have been taken while passing by, captured at the moment. Here it is a ballerina who seems to float in an elegant leap - she flies effortlessly through the colour space towards her partner.
Fine Art Giclée on 100% cotton artist's canvas, treated with 2x UV-protective varnish and stretched on a wooden frame like an original painting. Limited edition 199 copies, numbered on the back and signed by the artist. Stretcher frame size 80 x 80 cm. Framed in a sophisticated solid wood frame with a shadow gap. Size 84 x 84 cm.

About Thomas Aeffner
"Life is motion - motion is life". This theme of Thomas Aeffner, born in Lower Saxony, Germany, in 1953, runs through the painter's entire oeuvre. Aeffner's themes are power and dynamics, which he has been able to capture with skilful strokes for more than three decades.
A recurring motif in his work is horses - Aeffner is considered the contemporary horse painter par excellence in equestrian circles. In his landscapes and flower paintings, Thomas Aeffner also explores dynamically vital elements, such as the wind in the branches, the swaying of the blades in the field or the drifting clouds in the sky. The search for what moves the world is reflected in dynamic strokes, the vivid play of colours and the compelling contrast.
Giclée = derived from the French verb gicler "to squirt, spurt".
The giclée method is a digital printing process. It is a high-resolution, large-format printout on an inkjet printer with special different-coloured dye- or pigment-based inks (usually six to twelve). The colours are fade-proof, i.e. resistant to harmful UV light. They have a high richness of nuance, contrast and saturation.
The giclée process is suitable for art canvases, handmade and watercolour paper as well as for silk.
