About Janina Lamberty
The sculptor, painter and graphic artist Janina Lamberty draws her inspiration from the diversity of life. She lets the most diverse impulses flow into her works. For example, art history, philosophy and natural sciences, but also nature and music In her objects, she transforms her impressions and thoughts into abstract forms and structures.
Janina Lamberty was born in 1961 in Ratibor, Poland. Today she lives and works as an artist and designer in Düsseldorf and Barcelona. For over 20 years, she has regularly presented her works at solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe.
Term for paintings and sculptures that are detached from representational depiction, which spread across the entire western world and parts of the eastern world from around 1910 onwards in ever new stylistic variations. The Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, born in 1866, is considered the founder of abstract art. Other important artists of abstract art are K.S. Malewitsch, Piet Mondrian, and others.
A form of presentation favoured by professional photographers and exhibition organizers. Increasingly, artists are creating works for this carrier made of high-tech composite aluminium. The metallic surface creates a synthesis with the colours. White areas of the image are shimmering matt-metallic, depending on the light source, giving the image an elegant and puristic appearance.
